Many patients want the results of a facelift but are concerned about the recovery time and expense of the surgery. The new and advanced mini face lift at American Facelift Centers requires less pulling on the tissues compared to a conventional, full facelift. Therefore, there is less bruising and patients have a much faster recovery compared to a traditional facelift. For these reasons, the American Facelift is a great option for patients who want less downtime after the procedure.
The American Facelift uses sutures placed in the deeper layers of the face to lift the soft tissue which creates a natural looking improvement. Most patients can return to work within three to five days. There are normally no sutures to remove and the healed incisions, since they are kept to a bare minimum, are subtle and hidden in natural creases. The American Facelift can be performed comfortably under local anesthesia to help make the surgery safer, more cost effective, and have a faster recovery period.
Our plastic surgeons have performed thousands of facelifts and mini facelifts with outstanding results, and have the expertise and artistic vision to create a natural looking younger version of yourself.
At American Facelift Centers, we offer state-of-the-art technology combined with an artistic flair to produce amazing results.
The American Facelift is designed to improve:
- Sagging throughout your face, chin and neck

- Fat that has diminished over time
- Loss of skin tone in the lower face that creates jowls
- Loose skin and excess fat under the chin and jaw that contributes to the appearance of a double chinSagging skin on the neck.

Surgery on the eyelids is called a blepharoplasty. It can be performed on the upper or lower eyelid (or both). You may be a good candidate for eyelid surgery if you have excess skin on the upper eyelids that obscures your vision, if you have a puffy appearance on the upper or lower eyelids, if you have fine wrinkles of the lower eyelid or bags or dark circles around your eyes. Eyelid surgery won’t always completely eliminate these issues, but will often improve and soften the appearance of these flaws.
What will Eyelid Surgery do for me?
Eyelid surgery can give you a more rested, youthful appearance. It would soften the look of your face and provide a younger look to your eyes. You should look more rested and refreshed. The results from your procedure will have long-lasting effects. Our American Facelift plastic surgeon may combine fat grafting with eyelid surgery to provide more fullness to areas that need to be “plumped” up.
How does the consultation work?
The American Facelift plastic surgeon will give you a mirror to look at your face to show the doctor the areas that you are unhappy with. He/she will discuss your medical history (please let us know about any medical problems, allergies, and eye problems including “dry eyes.”). The American Facelift surgeon will evaluate your situation and recommend the most optimal procedure to help improve your areas of concern.
How is the surgery performed?
Eyelid surgery can often be performed under local anesthesia, making the procedure safer for the patient. Upper eyelid surgery works to eliminate the excess skin on the upper eyelid that can sometimes obscure one’s vision. A small incision is hidden in the natural fold of the upper eyelid and the surgeon will remove excess skin. The lower eyelid can also be improved with surgery. A small incision is hidden just below the lower lashes and excess skin is gently removed from the lower eyelids. Varied approaches are employed depending upon whether the goal is to remove excess skin or fatty bags under the eyes.
What is the Recovery Period for eyelid surgery?
For the first few days following the procedure, you can apply cold compresses to the eyelids to help minimize swelling and bruising. Within the first week, you would be able to use makeup to help conceal any discoloration. You should be able to return to normal activities and back to work within about a week.
What is the cost of eyelid surgery?
At American Facelift Centers, the cost of eyelid surgery is very affordable and varies depending upon the surgery and whether you decide to undergo just the upper or lower eyelids or both. Our prices are very competitive and reasonable, and start at as low as $1,500 per eyelid. You can also avail of patient financing programs such as Care Credit and United Medical Credit. We also accept credit cards and cash.
